Dean Briggs is married to Jeanie, the father of eight grown children, and presently grandfather to six. A former pastor and church planter for eleven years, Dean is now a sought-after Bible teacher across the nations with powerful messages concerning sonship, righteousness, ekklesia reformation and revival.

As an author, Dean's books include manifestos on prayer, fasting and discipleship, including groundbreaking works like Ekklesia Rising and Consumed. He currently serves on the leadership of The International House of Prayer in Kansas City, while also consulting with other ministries and businesses to help them strategically maximize their vision, resources and impact.

Dean has actively served the global prayer movement since 2009 through his work with various ministries, including: The Call, The International House of Prayer in Kansas City, International Prayer Connect, and Revival Reformation Alliance. In addition to his preaching, teaching and writing, Dean has served to strengthen these ministries in his various capacities as a consultant, or through direct administrative roles related to strategy and messaging.

While pastoring from 1995-2006, Dean spent 10 days training a network of pastors in Kenya and has been in a series of growing relationships with various other pastors in South Africa, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ethiopia, Uganda and Nigeria since that time.
